Hi
I'm a pretty new mpc 2500 user with the jj os xl v. 1.17 - I bought it used in may and haven't been able to upgrade the jjos. I've been trying hard to improve my skills with it and therefore I'm halfway through the excellent tutorial-book "Beat Making on The MPC2500".. This book is written for the akai os 1.24 so there's a couple of things that has to be done differently with the jj os and what I can't figure out so far is this:

How do I record real time mixer changes like panning left to right?

Where's the equivalent to V>attack, V>pitch etc. meaning - how do I make velocity sensitive attack, pitch, filter to emulate timbre changes with the jj os?

To those who also have this tutorial I'm refering to chapter 14 and 25.

Thanks

V>FILTER can be done in the FILTER page of PROGRAM. (p.s. to get the second filter up on the filter page press F3 again. This toggles the display of FLT2 and VEL).

I miss V>ATTACK. As far as I know this has never been implemented in JJOS.
