greets

so I'm trying to use auto chop or auto slice to slice up a long sample and make a program. I'm recording hand claps (12 claps) as close to the metronome as possible at slow BPM so there's enough silence between the claps, then I go into TRIM mode and no matter how I set the AUTO Slice setting I don't get 12 nice slices ready to be turned into a program, I have to adjust the start and end points of the chops/slices every time.

Is this at all possible to do in auto mode? Do I have to record as precise as the metronome in order for the MPC to autoslice properly?

thanks in advance

well I was practicing on claps, sometimes I sample a bodhran or other percussion instruments. I just tried the combine function and seems to get the job done. So for now I'll use autos-slice and combine.
