The TTPPTTP (its the most annoying acronym)
This is the Track To Pattern, Pattern To Pad process, to play and record.
Here is a vid of the patterns to pad. I have kept it real simple and used tekno as a illustration because it is pretty easy to hear the changes that are made to a static bass line. You can see I trigger all of them from same bank. There are 3 patterns of drums, using two separate programs (two on one program, and one on another different drum program). There is the two basslines sent to microkorg, one is an octave above the other, and as well as this there are more 2 more patterns for pitch bend on microkorg, and filter cut off and resonance sweeps on the microkorg as well. These last two (pitch bend, filter sweeps) have no note information at all. So if there is no bass you can not hear these other patterns, even if they are playing.

I should have hit the footswitch! At any time you can use a foot switch set to record this jam in real time, with no need to stop. :) goes to assigned multiple tracks to, which I found amazing the first time I did it.

See that I go to another track that is set to arp, and use Qlink slider to change the TC value as it plays over the top in realtime.. badly  Thats something a few probably not seen and aint sussed yet, so I chucked that in.
I can do this in any track, and forgot to be on blank track to show that, but you should be able to work it out. And turn this all off or on with SETS. that was set 1 bank A

thats the thread - something like clips and this is a double post really, but there is so much you can do with this so I thought a thread for everyone to show your cool or clever home grown TTPPTPs ! I also do ones like volume and amp envelope settings in one blank track, so any synth amp envelope is opened and it gets too loud it has a CC for volume as well to stop that happening.
