Question about JJOS 1000 & 2500

Hi all,

I bought JJOS1 for my MPC 1000. I acquired a 2500. I would put on my JJOS 2500. Should I repay a totally new JJOS or I can update my JJOS1 1000 for JJOS2XL switch on 2500?

No it's always two separate purchases because the unlock is machine specific.

And I believe on 2500 you can only buy OS XL now and OS1 and OS2 are useable if you want.

So upgrade the 1000 or buy XL for 2500 as two separate things. Or go for the overkill and buy it for both. At least you can recoup some on resale.

Last question, RAM is the same on the 1000 and 2500 and the same mouthpiece for the hard drive?

yes... both the 1000 and 2500 use the same RAM chip and the same HDM10 hard drive kit for installing the HD. the 2500 comes with the HDM10 installed from factory... whereas on the 1000 you need to buy that part separately.
