Can I use 8GB CF card in an MPC2500 SE?

I read somewhere the MPC only reads up tp 2GB compact flash cards, but I aksi read here that more than one were using 8GB cards in it with no problems.

I will be installing JJOS on it.

I've heard plenty of people here report 8GB ones working. I don't have any larger than 4GB but no issues.

im pretty sure it will work, i would go for it if i were you. if worst comes to worst, you could just send the card back. i think up to 16 gb has been tested, but dont quote me on that.

New i have a 16GB card, not donne much with, but definitly can load and safe files on it.
just tested again now.
