MPC 1000, JJOS2XL.
For example let's assume I have a typical DRUM program with x samples (voices).
My set up is very simple:
pad 1 sample 1 track 1
pad 2 sample 2 track 2
pad 3 sample 3 track 3
etc.
Suppose I add a filter to sample 02 using this screen:

and some effects to sample 02 using this screen:

Now suppose I add a layer in program mode, for example adding sample 2 in pad 01 using this screen:

Will that layer with sample 02 reflect the filter and FXs added earlier to that sample 02 ??
My preliminary experience shows that the 2nd layer with sample 02 does NOT include the filter and FXs setting on sample 02.
In other words it seems to me layer 2 uses sample 02 raw, original, stripped of either the filter or FX.
Is this normal ? did I miss something ?
