Hi guys,
Forgive this probably stupid question, but your help is much appreciated.
I'm attempting to learn the MPC 2500 using JJOS-XL and battling my way through various different manuals... the translated XL manual is a nightmare!
Anyways...
I've got an Alpha Juno as my master keyboard plugged into midi in 1 and the MPC is receiving midi no problem. If I create a drum track program with some samples and press play it plays back fine. If I hit keys on the midi keyboard whilst it's playing it interrupts and cuts out bits of the audio (this happens whether the track is currently on-screen/active or not). Is there a way to disable midi input for these tracks so that the audio doesn't get interrupted?
The program is set to poly by the way... also tried it in mono.
Multi timbre: off, Active track receive channel: 7, Soft thru: as track, Sequence change by program change: off.
Also if I create an audio track and press play (whilst the audio track is on-screen), pressing keys does nothing. If change to another track and press play, then hit keys on the keyboard it cuts out the audio track until the end of the bar and then it starts playing again.
I'm sure this is something simple. I am working my way through the manual but this basic thing is driving me nuts.
Any help much appreciated!
