Non Destrcutive Chop: Any way to only make 16 chops?

The non destructive chop defaults to making 32 chops across the pads. Is there any way to only make it only do 16 chops instead?


And also what's the quickest way to nudge badly timed notes in the sequencer? I've tried the copy and paste, but that just leave the notes out of time - I wanted them aligned to the grid.


I'm using the latest OS2XL by the way!

Just hit SLICE and select 16 regions. This chops your entire sample into 16 and assigns them to the 16 bank A pads. Yes, there's still the original chops 17-32 on bank B, but you can either ignore or just remove them.

For the note nudging existing track data to a specific quantize grid:

TC (F1) - set a 'note value' and optionally whatever other setting you wish (strength, shift timing), and press FIX.

NDC is not always the answer.Chop samples as normal and copy program(samples) to keep calm and chop on.
