Can you assign multiple samples to pad - without using simult mode?
I'm wanting to build an epic program with layered samples.

yep , in program mode , select the pad number in the pad column and press window.
You can assign up to 3 samples to the same pad with different tune , level and velocity settings.
Also available , the aftertouch/crossfade fonction that lets you fade from one sample to the other according to velocity pressure.

hope it's clear enough :-D

cheers

Perfect. I knew it had to be something simple like that.

So when I have my program built, this is where the "purge" function comes in, yeah? To clear the samples I'm not using out of the memory?
