mpc2000xl to jjos128 - pgm and snd file compatibility

I'm upgrading from the MPC 2000xl .. just wondering whether jjos128 (free version) can read my pgm and/or snd files

actually if jjos128xl or jjos2xl can read those files that as well (jj have given me a discount to buy both OS to help me decide ')

I'm hoping there is a yes somewhere in here

I'm not 100 pourcent sure (It's a bit far in my memory), but

I think you will have to save all your sequences as midi files inside the 2000xl before switching...(maybe the 16 levels notes will appear as the same one notes)

For the programs and . snd you will have to resave them, loadable with the akai os, and after that you will be able to load them in the jj os(without the enveloppes parameters).
Or there are some computer programs to do the switch too.

Try it with the free xl os before.
