Drum Layering in JJOSXL 2500 Help!

Hi i just got the JJOSXL for my 2500 and now i come to a problem and i dont find a solution in the Manual.

I want to layer drums. For instance i wanna layer a Kick on A1. I go to Programm mode and choose A1 now i use scroll wheel to find the kick i like. so far so good.
But i cant add another sound to A1. In the Programm Mode i have PAD 1-16 and that is only 1 Sound per Pad.

On my MPC 1000 i have in programm Mode the option to add mutliple sounds to the pad i hit.

Can anyone tell me PLEASE wheredo i find such a MENU on the MPC 2500 JJOSXL newest version.

Just for added clarity If someone looks this up like I did. In program mode, cursor over to the PAD column, select your pad, THEN press window.


I'm kind of disappointed only three layers are permitted.

Is there a creative way of adding more than four layers aside from recording the layered pad as one samples and then layering again? Thanks
