I have my mic running into the MPC which, thanks to JJOS can accept live input, run it through the fx / filters and output in real time.

Then, I route the pads to control FX (Another JJOS Addition), so basically, when I hit a pad, it will, in real time, switch to any premade effects settings I've assigned.

SO: Whilst drumming and activating loops via the pads during live performance, I can activate vocal FX that are time synced with the beat without ever removing my fingers from the pads, in fact, I can MAKE THOSE EFFECT CHANGES A PART OF THE PATTERN I AM JAMMING. Shit is about to get real real in about 3...2...1....

Huge thanks to Bliprockhustler for the original FX tip!

No worries and thanks, but I can't take all the credit, JJ is the one to put it in, I just figured it out and shared,
There is another way to do it to, but can't remember what it was in the manual. But of course pattern to pad is the bomb.
If you are a drummer, I am sorry, nah I am making drummer jokes there, Have you thought of a MIDI trigger that is mapped to a few pads to? I was thinking that as a drummer you might not wanna drop ya sticks and use a trigger to MIDI note, either home made or say something like an roland octopad. That way you dont have to look at MPC at all and just hit a drum that triggers midi that goes into MPC to pad. That would be a cool idea I think. And also means you never have to stop drumming to hit a pad on ya MPC.
