I can't wait, I wish tutor would load some 128xl projects into the Ren to see how they import over.

^^
The reason why the "mpc" daw doesn't interest me.

JJos>Dongled Daw without JJos support.

Is there going to be any graphical representation of the chops? What about threshold based chopping?

From the manual, it looks like the "slice" button still exists.

EDIT:

You're right. It's still ambiguous as he calls the new NDC: slicing:

Non-Destructive Slice and Start/End point adjustment of a sample (Program mode) Refer to manual.(OS128XL)

We need some more opinions about the differences in OS2XL and OS3
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl_os3.htm

I am still on OS2xl. I like the aftertouch. I like the extra Q-link controls. I like the control of the filter and other parameters by external CC's.

Coolest thing on OS3 I see is the live time stretching. That's like the fader on an SP-1200, no?

OS3 midi filter sounds useful. I hear OS3 has better auto chopping? Can you elaborate?

I'm interested in what the chords function is.

I like the reverse LCD option in OS3

Also, it seems that maybe the OS is limited in the maximum size? In other words, JJ can't just keep adding infinite features because he must keep everything contained to size limit. Am I correct to assume that? Can someone explain the technical aspect of this?

Thanks.
