XLCD not working?

I've just installed the XLCD as per instructions but once I powered the MPC up I'm just getting a blank screen? I've tried adjusting the contrast using stop+ jog wheel but nothing?

Have done, replacement is being sent ASAP, must just be a bad apple!

mpc-stuff has always had stellar customer service.

They sent me a new one which worked perfectly and refunded me for all the costs incurred so I was just unlucky. They get top marks for customer service from me too.

i had the same problem and i had to send the faulty screen at my own cost because

i lost at least 50 euros (sending it back and paying the custom fee a second time) because of a faulty product they sent me.

I spent about £200 on a card reader and CF card for my XL, and I wasn't overly impressed with the non-brand card that arrived and didn't work. In fairness, I did get refunded for the card though.
