Sequence design software for MPC 1000 JJS OS2xl?

I'm wondering if there is some easy-to-use software out there to help me put together sequences on the computer and then transfer them to my MPC 1000 with the JJ OS2xl updater. I have a huge live show to design and work with another individual. It would be nice if I could load up the contents of my MPC's compactflash card into some software so we could each build sequences on our computers and then download our work back onto the MPC. I know that MPC Renaissance is out, but I've read that you cannot export from Renaissance to the MPC 1000. There have to be a few options- I already have created all the programs and samples.

JUST NEED COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE WITH SEQUENCING ABILITY.

It's a discontinued JJSeqencer for PC, I don't know how much this will recover all your files forth and back, but I think most of the settings will be fine, I am guessing some parameters you will have to set again after loading back to MPC. I think it's the only sequencing program that uses mpc file formats.

OK, I loaded it up and it seems it's compatibile with OS1.. not sure, cannot load instrument programs or I don't know how, just drum programs (back than there were only drum programs even for intsrument samples)

Thanks, Bugfix. I downloaded it and it will probably work for what I need. Though it looks like a pain in the butt to navigate. Has anyone had success with this program?
I realized that all of my samples are already in 4 bar chunks so maybe I could use something like ACID or Fruity Loops with a laptop? Might be simpler. I just need to bring loops in and out during the verse, chorus, outro, etc. I don't need extra effects, eq, or anything other than volume. I use Sonar to record but it is too cumbersome and not stable enough to run during a live show. The idea with the MPC was to pair it with my Behringer FCB1010 foot controller to trigger groups of loops at specific points in a song. It works great but I'd rather have a program where I can just drag and drop. Open to all suggestions. Thanks guys.

I think if you got possiblity, you can use as well any sequencing program, connect it through MIDI to MPC as sound module, write your sequence in PC. Than save sequence as .MID and load it up to MPC. no?

This! Mpc is first and foremost a MIDI sequencer. Try and feed it a bunch of midi seqences you've created on a daw and you'll see.

Ok, I think I understand what you guys are saying. So, I would take all my samples and build sequences in a sequencer. Then, once I've finished building the song, transport the MIDI files to the MPC so it can trigger the corresponding samples in the MPC. I'm guessing that in the sequencer, I'll have to assign each sample a MIDI note and keep track off the corresponding MPC pad (A01, A02, etc) so I can make an MPC program to play what I designed on the computer.
