MPC2500 & SP404 setup

I recently got an SP404sx and I am looking to use it with my 2500. I would like to use the effects on the SP404 and apply them to individual pads or tracks on the MPC.

I am pretty certain the best way to do this is by using the 8 outs on the back of the 2500, but would someone be able to break it down for me in steps the best way to achieve this.
