1000 to 2500 corrupting note only erase + time correct optio

hey guys, I recently bought a 1k so I could work at a mates place and load files from that to my 2500, but when i do load a beat up and want to alter an individual pad on t.c or on erase, the letters are all scrambled and the function does't work. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem and found a solution... I'm running the 1k on jj os xl 1 and the 2500 on jj os xl. cheers.

The two operating systems are not 100% compatible really. If you go from one to another the features that are not in the other wont be recognised obviously. Also there are updates and this might solve your problem to, who's to say. So definitely update your OS. Also check out OS 3 to as it is better IMHO and free for XL users to.

OS-XL (2500) and OS2XL (1k) are compatible (par couple of features).
OS1 and OS2 (1k/2500) aren't with OS-XL/OS2XL.
OS3 and OS128XL compatibility I don't know about, but they share the same codebase so in theory they are.
