Can JJ 128XL work on a regular screen?

Hello,

I'm about to buy a second hand MPC1000 (blue).

The person says it has JJ OS 128XL installed on it, but the screen on the pictures seems to be the original one and not the taller one.

Can JJ 128XL adapt to a regular screen? Or is it designer for taller screens only?

Also, can the 128XL be updated to OS2 XL or OS3 for cheaper than full price?

128XL doesn't work on small screens. Use OS3 instead, it's 128XL for small screens, I suspect that's what the seller is using.

As far as I'm aware, JJ considers JJOS128XL and JJOS3 as two separate purchases, not sure if there is a discount available if you already have purchased one.

But if your 1000 only has the small screen then it isn't relevant unless he's had the large screen at some point and then put the small screen back in.

You should clarify with the seller, but it would seem that the pictures with a small screen would point to the small screen OS (OS3, OS2XL etc).
