Hello!
I have lately begun exploring the world of chromatic midi note assignment as it would be nice to sync mpc with computer snuggly and track notes chromatically from mpc to daw and other way around. When I make or open chromatic pgm I can hit pads and corresponding sound comes out, but when I record with the same program wrong midi note is recorded even thought it plays correct sound during recording. Ie. I have assigned pad A1 to note no 35, which is fine during live drumming but those A1 hits will be recorded as pad C14 hits probably because C14 has note no 35 assigned as default (mode + pad 9 aka midi/sync > note). Weird behaviour. Seems like it's impossible to get rid of this by changing the default note assignments (which btw cannot be saved). Is there a workaround or should I just forget chromatic programs? This is a bug? Does it apply to OS2 or OS3?
