lfo no sound drivin me nutz

whats up everybody befor i get a bunch of heads yellin at me i really did serch this topic like 10 times to find my self rereading post getting no where.

i recently just got a mpc 1000 after have a 2000xl for years it a beast of a machine!!! i caught on to everything pretty quick except how to get this lfo to effect my samples??????

is there a setting im missing in one of the modes that needs to be turned on

I'm unfamiliar with 3.15.... it's been a while since I last used it. I'm on JJOS1 - so! I am sorry if this doesn't help you out too much.

On JJOS1 you can get to your LFO page by pressing MODE + PAD7 (Program). My LFO window is on the F5 button. By default, the LFO can only alter ONE PAD at a time (per the Program window). You can set the LFO up to alter the pitch, filter 1 & 2, and level.

In my MODE + PAD11 window (in JJOS1 you get much needed batch-editing!) I can send all of my samples in a given program to the LFO, which I do not think you can do from the standard MODE + PAD7 (Program) window.

In short, I'm unaware of other settings needed to activate the LFO. Mine work right when I turn 'em on. Again, I am on JJOS1 so there could be differences!

I'd be willing to put 3.15 on my machine to test it out, if you find yourself needing a hand still. Wish I could be more help, man. Post back and let us know what happens.

medearis thanx so much for the info! im a keep playin around with it and hopefully somthin just clicks one day hhaha no need to go thru the trouble of switching the opp system .... appreciate it tho!!!

eventually i will switch to the next jjos but since i just got the 1000 a couple weeks ago im a freak wit it for a while

hopefully some one will chime in with some magical paramater that im missing lol
