Hey guys i am struggling with another problem on my JJoS MPC 1000 when i record a 4 bar loop from a vinyl then i go into edit mode and cut it to be a percet loop.

But i can't hear the loop in a loop. it play one time and stops.

i found its hard to tell the perfect cut time to make it a perfect loop. - since its not looping.

DO anyone know how i can play the file (to edit) in a loop so i can adjust the start end end point in perfection.

thnx. ....

Hi,

Which JJ OS?

Generally there's a LOOP tab in TRIM mode in every OS. You'd probably have to keep a pad pressed to hear it looping. (pad13 is useful for just looping the loop part by the way).

Precisions regarding different JJ OS versions :

In recent versions, you can trigger samples in ONE SHOT and not NOTE ON in TRIM mode. (Reverse play is also possible and there's a play marker too).

In OS2XL, there's a function that links TRIM mode to PROGRAM mode.

In OS3, there's a function that makes samples loop in TRIM mode showing bpm directly and other stuff (bars numbers..etc)

Personally, in newer versions, I'd like that PAD13 and PAD16 play in ONE SHOT. It's always boring to maintain a pad pressed especially when it's a long loop (4 bars or more)
