Few days ago I was trying to update my JJOS 3.15 to the latest 3.16 version and I must have done something wrong during the process. I tried installing the OS through the MPC instead of the CF and now when I try to turn on my MPC, all I get is this:

MPC1000 BootBlock Ver:1.03
BootBlock on emergency mode
A CompactFlash card was detected.
Detected FAT32 volume
OS file searching....
A correct OS file wasn't found.
system halt......

I did a web search and looked through most of the posts with similar issues and tried all the methods such as the "power on while holding WINDOW" and "power on while holding ERASE." I tried booting up both the original Akai OS and the JJOS. I even reinstalled my RAM even though there was nothing wrong with it, just to see if it would change anything.

This is driving me insane!!!! I bought this from a pretty cool dude on craigslist and it worked completely fine when I first bought it. Then I didn't use it for about a year cause I was busy and wanted to get back on it recently but this happens..

Nothing I tried works. What else can I do??

Update: I'm so stupid haha. I was unaware that the file in my CF card was the .zip file when it should have been the .bin file. I was panicking that I wasn't going to be able to use my MPC, but all is well now. I look forward to contributing and learning more about the MPC through this forum!
