It's this setting in OTHER mode, MISC. tab
It's not specific to JJ OS btw. It's a setting shared by a lot of MPCs.
Personally, I didn't understand the difference between length or end. The manual is not very clear. I did a search but didn't manage to find an answer with detailed examples. SO I asked JJ and here is his answer with a practical case :
1- 2 bars sequence
2- sequence LOOP ON
3- REC+PLAY START
4- PRESS PAD (at the 3rd beat of the 2nd bar)
5- let the sequence loop 10 times
Concerning duration:
1 beat = 96 ticks
2 bars = 768 ticks
Difference between the available settings :
AS PLAYED = 96+96+768*9=7104
TO SEQUENCE LENGTH = 96*8=768
ＴＯ SEQUENCE ＥＮＤ = 96+96=192
