Note Repeat affecting velocity of all pads

Hi all,

I'm trying to think of what I may have done to cause this as it's confusing me greatly. I have an MPC1000 w/ JJOS 2XL. I'm sequencing my 707 with the mpc sending midi notes to the 707 as per usual. Recently when I turn on note repeat, say when I want to program 16th note hi hats with varying velocity, it is changing all of the previously recorded notes velocity to the same value. It never did this before and I'm trying to determine what may be causing this. Thanks in advance for your help!

are you sure you are not just over writing the data with your full level on? seems strange bug, are you recording by step edit, grid edit, main window?

If you refer to 16 levels velocity it does not work thru MIDI and it has never worked like that. It's just internal MPC parameter.

yeah true bugfix but i do not see where he mentions that he is using a midi keyboard?

This is just recording on the main screen and not using the 16 levels functionality, just note repeat with full level off.

Check in q-link menu maybe you have velocity set in there
