128XL Users: Does the sequencer read FX changes?

Whats up,

Quick question for the 128xl users. Does the sequencer read FX changes?

Screen-related features aside, I know there are a few subtle differences between 128XL & OS3. OS3 doesn't read FX changes but i noticed on a 128 screen shot it says "Effect 1" somewhere.


edit: I have my answer JJ's 128 xl manual says:
"OS3 cannot perform selection of an effect set"

I'm good thanks. Ive been pretty quiet round here recently, do but pop in to check things out. How are you?

I don't have a big screen but have been considering it and looking into it. After playing with OS3 a little I think Im going to stick with OS2xl though. For some of the features that I like I sort of have work arounds for on 2XL, but I can't think of work arounds for the features I would lose.

If you buy a big screen keep me updated. I think my workflow isn't too far from yours so there's always something to learn from you.

I have got some new stuff in the pipeline. I used to do music full time (including music teaching) but that changed about 2 years ago so I have less time for finishing stuff off etc. I'll hopefully get some new videos up too - they're more likely to be MPC tips than live stuff at the moment. Ive been experimenting a lot with MIDI to button combined with pad pattern for instance.

hey mikolo, sorry i dont have an answer to your question either, but just out of curiousity, why do you like os2xl better than os3?

i currently have os2xl, and like it, but a few feaures on 3 look pretty tempting, although i havent looked at it for awhile.
