My current setting (MPC + synths) uses the "as track" setting with "multitimbre" off.
But now I wonder what the "multitimbre" setting means and can be used for.
Sure, I am aware of what "multitimbre" means in principle for a synth, but in my mind this concept is not clear for a sampler/sequencer such as MPC1000/ JJOS2XL .... I have also the same question for "in 2 offset channel" setting which seems related.
So that would be quite great if these settings could be explained in basic or simple terms.
(I looked at the JJ manual, but still all this seems to me a bit abstruse
)
