HELP, I just bought a used MPC 1K and cant tell what OS is i

I just recently recieved a used MPC 1K, THE owner prior to me knew very little of the specs.

He thinks it has jjos but not sure, also not sure if it had any upgrades to the gbs of internal memory as their was a owner before him.

My question is...is there anyway, or a screen I can go to, that will display what OS is currently installed...also how Much internal memory is available...that way I can tell if its factory stock or of it has been upgraded.

When I turn it on...the first screen simply says " MPC 1000 (128 MB RAM)" so I know atkeast the ram has been upgraded.

on bot up i will say what OS is on it. It should also give you an option to swap OSs to. So if you do not see JJOS pop up then you are on Akai Sys. Go to JJOS website and download the free version and follow instructions to load it.

I found out a more exact way...if you press (mode) and the. OTHER....it shows you the exact specifics.
