MPC 1000 JJOS2 XL 3.47 sounds do not play correctly!

Hi guys

i have a strange problem. when i load bass samples (that work 100% on my computer and on JJOS1) i don't hear them correctly all bass sounds sound broken layered with a high frequent sine wave.

i thought the sounds may be broken but when i restart the MPC 1000 with OS1 everything plays fine as well as on the computer.

Does anybody know why this happens and how this can be fixed?

this way i can't use JJOS2 XL properly

i did the factory reset and reinstalled the newest versions of JJOS.

JJOS free and akai OS plays all my sounds correctly but as soon as i start JJOS2XL my sounds get **** up.

Am i the only one experiencing something like this?

i found out the reason for some of the broken or cut sounds is in JJOSXL the loop point of random samples is set to on while others are not.

if i set it to off for each pad individually then the drum sounds sound good again.

Question: is there a way to set loop points of a PGM to all instead of individually (inside the trim window)?



However this fix does not apply for the broken Bass samples that sound like a mix all the same sounding broken bass and a high frequent sine wave. Totally not what the sample is really sounding.

Seems like you found the explanation.. loop was on. It will sound depend on loop points. You can't edit multiple files. I think if you will set in program all samples at once to ONE-SHOTS.. loop will be ignored, BUT if you want play them as NOTE ON.. well you have to take care of loop points.

I guess you had loops saved within samples with your software on computer.. they don't always transfer well. Best to set in MPC.

i can't find a solution for the other broken sounds. The loop on of does not work with them. Its strange because they sound perfect when i restart the MPC with holding Tap Tempo to load OS1.

everything is perfect. Then Switch to JJOS2XL and its broken. thats crazy.

If you are transfering programs between OS1 and OS2XL they always need little tweaking to sound the same. Try to load one "broken" sample into os2xl and play with it on different settings until you catch it.
