Cycle and Mute target on the same pad for hi hat cut off?

I'm trying to setup a "live-ish" sounding drumkit for live play with multiple samples on velocity layers as well as multiple samples in "CyclRnd" mode. I can handle all that so far!

The next step is to setup a mute group or mute target to close the open hi hat but it looks like I can only choose "CyclRnd" OR "MUTE" per pad.

If I use a mute setting, I can only use a single closed hi hat sample since I can't choose "CyclRnd" as well.

I have an MPC1000 with JJOSXL - is it possible on another OS version or at all on the MPC?

I'm not a OS3 user but I know that in this OS cycle and mute are not in the same window.
Cycle is in main screen. Have a try. It might work.

yeah.. but wait do you want to mute on one pad between layers, or have two pads is mutegroup with cycle selection?
