JJos2XL project/seq/prog/samples management question

Hi guys,

I was wondering if in JJOS2XL there is a way to create a new project using specific beats (seq + programs + samples) which already exist in other programs? Sounds like a very basic feature but I never managed to do it.

Like importing a beat (seq/prog/sample, etc) from an exiting project into another one.

Within the project it is easy to switch them around of course.

Actually, found this in the AKAI manual. Hopefully it also works with JJos2xl as there was no mention of it in the JJ's os2xl manual.

You can load an individual sequence from the ALL file

01. Select the ALL file and load it. The Load ALL
(SEQS&SONGS) File window will be displayed.

02. Press the [F3] (SEQ) key.
The Load a Sequence window will be displayed.

03. In the Load file field, select the sequence to load.
In the Load file field, you can select a sequence data
in the ALL file.

04. In the Load into field, select the destination sequence.
Select the sequence number to load the data to.

05. Press the [F5] (DO IT) key.
The MPC1000 will start loading the data

This manual is written only about the function added by JJ OS.
Please refer to the manual of AKAI for the basic function of MPC

Yes you can merge projects, use programs from other projects, use a sequence etc.. as long as individual file name don't get double (overwrite). You don't "import".. you just load them.
