Hi everyone!

Is there a way to set the 100% velocity to 100 (or some other number) instead of 127? I don't mean the full level button velocity. I mean full range velocity interval (pad and/or midi in) interval is from 0 to 127 (default). It would be great if this could be set to some other interval like 0 to 90. I know that this can be set using velocity layers but then if i hit a pad or midi in greater than upper limit there is no sound.

Thank you!

How about recording the sequence normally, and setting the track Velocity % to whatever you want?
So the events are still recorded with 127 max velocity, but then played back, by track, at whatever % you pick.

Thnx for the answer. That's cool for recorded sequences, but sometimes i want to play live some instrument or drum programs on top on recorded sequences/tracks. Doesn't matter, not that important, i guess i want more control over program expressiveness, but mpc 1000 has its limitations.

If any of you read the manual you will know all you have to do is hold the velocity button down in JJOS3 and XL and then you can choose any level of full velocity and then you can set it to 90 or 100 when you have full level on

lol hes sayin he knows about full level. what he wants is to play 0-100 velocity range but in a way like it would be full range (0-127) on midi out I guess, also not splitted 0-100 and 101-127 (with empty or simulted layer for same sound), you can only force it after recording on many wayz. Seriously never checked that, but if hes complaining he can't..

yup, i can't! sorry for late reply, i've been away for a while. if i find a solution i'll post it, but it's not that important, i'll live without that :) but it would be a nice feature to add in future jj updates.
