Trendy to **** about JJOS ?

Reading this thread in GS about a new standalone MPC, I saw these comments about JJOS on page 7

I was never under the impression that anybody could NOT like JJOS.
This was a puzzling surprise.

Wouldn't take too much notice of a couple of random forum comments, but I think they are more referring to the fanboys whose answer to most questions is 'get jjos, that is all'. I can see how that can wind people up

We already got strong systems, so.. I don't need to encourage them so hard anymore

Beside, dude is saying there that he wants his 5000 and 2500 to be compatible (within files) - which is understanable and that 2500 is buggier than 5000, so I guess he wanna save on medicine since 5000 is chronically ill

Do these idiots on gs know that JJ was the original coder of the MPC 1000/2500 OS?

The same logic of hating JJ OS is the same as saying that Roger Linn's 3.10 OS is wack because it was not released by Akai directly.
