Heya,

I couldn't find this in the forum, most likely because I don't know what exactly to search for.

Basically I want to change all tracks in a given project to be different, for ex., I might want to change all of them to use a specific program that I have loaded instead of going into every single one to edit them. Anyone know how to do this? :hmmm:

thx

Yep, just create the folder AUTOLOAD. Save a template project there and it will "autoload" everytime the mpc is booted up.

I was LIVELY a few years back, lotta hate, lotta laughs, more hate, much more laughs and general cornballery.

pg89, Chapter 15 : Save / Load
"The Directory window will be displayed. In this
window, you can browse the contents of the
memory card. The files in the memory card are
saved in the directories hierarchically, like other
computer files. The folder selected in the To field
is displayed in the left of the directory list, and the
contents of the folder is displayed in the right of
the list. In the picture above, the ROOT folder is
selected and the folder has an AUTOLOAD folder.
04. Move through the directory using the left/right cursor
keys.
You can use left/right cursor keys to move
through the directories. For example, in the picture
above, if you press the right cursor key to select
the AUTOLOAD folder and then press the
right cursor key again, the AUTOLOAD folder
will be displayed in the left and the contents of
the AUTOLOAD folder will be displayed in the
right. If you press the left cursor key, the cursor
will move to the left list, and if you press the left
cursor key again, the upper directory will be selected
and displayed."

As opposed to my post count #. Damn near no beats made

Pretty good. I'm sick of DAWs so figure it's time to dig back in. :)
Nice to learn about the options to replace buttons etc... I think I'm going to need that.

Yeah; I've made a ton of beats w/ the MPC over the years. It's kinda crazy actually... I need some file management lessons from the pros. :P

hope so. :)
i've actually changed my workflow up quite a bit. i'm way faster at working w/ the machine now.

one of my favorite things is that the impedance is the same for all audio outputs, which apparently isn't a given in the industry! :P
