i have a few questions:
1---- i was looking at JJOS2XL manual and could not find the section for the "timing correct/swing" window in it ... is it there and did i miss it ?

2---- when i press the TC button i get on to the timing correct and swing section. now even if i specified the track to be affected or even the pad connected to that track (i use 1 pad-sound per track), i observed that changing swing % for one track, changed the swing % for all tracks. did i miss something ? one should be able to change the swing setting for only one track, right ?

3---- i read somewhere that swing settings could be changed using the sliders, but on the manual, slider parameters did not include swing settings (i did not see it). can one still use sliders to change swing value ?

btw, as i was snooping the web tor those questions, i re-found this older but great article by r. linn on the MPCs swing:

3- it's in grid edit (drum) and [shift+note repeat] to lock TC window on F keys

2-it' a global setting for what you WILL record, just showing current value for INPUT from pad/keys to apply while recording.
What you do as post recording TC is only aplied to one track, unless there is selection for all tracks - i think there is, also, but don't have mpc at my face now.
