hey guys, i just wondered if its somehow possible to let my mpc receive the midi clock on channel 1 and plugin an external midi keyboard on channel 2 so I can play on time? the problem is my master is my Boss dr 55 which has no midi so I cannot use the mpc as a master. The Boss triggers the Korg sq1 from which I go via midi out in to the mpc1000. this works fine, but as stated I have a problem with the external Keyboard, as I have to decide between channel one and two. maybe there is a workaround ? or some other ideas ?
