I decided that the playback from my MPC1000 of recorded samples from my TR-707 were basically identical, (so I can sell the 707 and save money), with the exception of the hihat choke.
On the 707 it sounds natural, like hihats would, but on the MPC1000 it's very abrupt and doesn't sound very musical or pleasing.
Wondering if there is any way to edit the mute groups, maybe to give it some more release instead of cutting off 100% immediately?
I looked thru the manual but the section on mute groups didn't have an answer ...
