[MPC 2500 ; JJos 3] Record in to different output ?

Hi Mpc Heads,

I bought an 8 input soundcard so i can use 8 outputs of the 2500. So i use output from 1 to 8 naturally, but i don't have any input left for the master output, which is the output for Record In. I was wondering if there's anyway to put the Record In output into a different one ?
For the moment i'm using my headphones for sampling and chopping but it's kinda weird...

If you have used up all of your 8 inputs on the soundcard from connecting the MPC 2500 to it, why do need to monitor the main out on the MPC 2500 as well?

Why not monitor from the soundcard?

Because when you record a sample or go in edit mode, it goes to stereo out, which i can't plug because i'm out of input on my soundcard.
I'm already using the output of my soundcard.

Well ... It solved my problem for the MPC 2500 input but i still can't hear when i'm in trim mode, because it goes to the master out.

File a bug/feature request with JJ?

You mean that i should ask JJ to put this option on ?

He might. Likely it's not a hard thing to implement, and he's still making changes from time to time to the firmware.

Though regrettable, there is no method of setting a master output to ASSIGNABLE MIX OUT.
We recommend connecting a mixer between the MPC2500 and the sound card.

However, the click sound of a metronome can be set to ASSIGNABLE MIX OUT.

Hi,

I am having a similar issue. I'd like to record from RECORD IN while it is assigned to the assignable outs.

Does anyone know if and how that's possible?
