Hey y'all, I'm running JJ OS2XL on my MPC 1000.
I'm wondering if it's possible to route incoming MIDI from a keyboard to several MIDI channels.
For example, my keyboard controller comes into the MPC on Channel 1. Is it possible to send its note messages to multiple MIDI Channels/tracks at once? E.g., can I route Channel 1 data coming into the MPC to channels 1-8 on the Output A port?
I was looking through the manual for the MIDI/SYNC section. I don't think Multi Timbre is what I want, since I only have one controlling channel (Ch 1) . My only options with Soft Thru are "AS TRACK" or "OMNI". As Track seems to only route the incoming MIDI to whatever the current Track's MIDI out is assigned to, but only one at a time. OMNI doesn't seem capable of re-routing the incoming data, just passing it along to the output ports A/B.
