Data wheel acting like a play scroll

I'm on the latest JJOS XL version on a 2500. Suddenly, both the data wheel and "+" and "-" buttons started acting weird and scrolling across the sequence bars, I can't change the values where my cursor is anymore.

Is this a feature? Can somebody tell me how to change it?

I don't have my 1k anymore to check... but did you go into the settings and make sure you have the correct data wheel set?

Maybe try to reset the firmware settings on boot?

It's not the data wheel type, is something else, most probably a combination of keys I press by mistake, or otherwise a JJ bug.

You can set the data wheel type in Other Mode.

I am not an expert at all, but to me it sounds like a hardware defect.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I had a similar issue last year, my Q link sliders were shot/messed up, so when they were anywhere that wasn't fully turned down/turned off, whatever was highlighted would go crazy
