I bought a second hand MPC1000 a few years ago with the JJOsXL ver 3.50-ish and I would like to update it. is there any risk? Could someone tell me how to do it? I can't find any online guide on where to download it or how to update it. Thanks

Unless something has changed since I last used my MPC1000 a few years back, to update the the latest version of JJOSXL just download it from the JJOS site, transfer to your CF card and load it from the load screen. There's a 'How to Install' video on the home page of his site: http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/

MPC-Tutor wrote:The password is permanently 'baked' into your unit's ROM, you don't need it for updates or anything else. passwords are basically tied to the hardware - if you were to replace your main board you'd probably have to re-purchase JJOSXL as it would effectively be a different MPC1000.

All gone perfectly. Thank you so much again
