Hey there! Mpc1000 user for nearly 15 years. I have the most recent jj os2xl. Lately midi in isn’t working..it’s not catching the signal and I haven’t changed anything…same protools system, updated, same rme interface…tried different midi cables and even different midi out on the rme. This system has worked flawlessly sending midi to the mpc 1000 and now the mpc doesn’t read the incoming midi- sometimes after two bars it gets some type of signal that just results in random notes/sounds getting triggered. I fear that something has gone bad in the mpc…maybe it’s time to upgrade to a new one but I love this machine and the work flow. Any help is appreciated here!
