Hello dear MPC fanatics!

I have an MPC 2500 SE (special edition) which worked perfectly with the akai OS, and which I have just upgraded to JJOSXL in order to test this OS.

As soon as I installed the free jjos first, the MPC's screen went completely white.
I put contrast back using stop + jog wheel.

I installed and launched Jjosxl, and the screen was still fully white.

I've put the contrast back on, but it doesn't save when I shut down the machine.
I still have to put the contrast back each time I turn the MPC on, otherwise I can't see anything.

I should point out that this SE version has a special blue screen.

Has anyone else who owns this special edition experienced this problem?

Thank you!

Did you take the cover off and do any mods right before this happened?

If not, then i would try to get your screen back with the old OS if you can. Or i would try to REINSTALL jjos somehow. You may have had corrupt copy or it did not copy correctly or the mpc did not complete the firmware update for some reason?

Thank you for your reply!

I didn't do anything except installing jjosxl.

It drove me crazy a few days and then I saw this post:

I don't know where the MPCist found this solution, but it worked for me :

MAIN + power off the machine, and it then kept the contrast setting.

I hope it will be useful to someone else.
