How can I create a Playlist?

I'm newer in the MPC'S world.
I would like to create a Playlist for my live show but I don't know how can I do It.
Explaining in detail, I imported some songs in MIDI format onto my MPC and I want to play them in sequence. I saw that I can load them in program mode and then create a sort of playlist through Song mode, but this way the next song starts automatically. Is there a way to switch to the next program automatically without it starting to play immediately?

How are you putting your individual songs together initially?
Just one sequence or multiple sequences arranged in song mode?

If you have each individual song completed in 'Song Mode' you can then convert the entire song to a single sequence (be sure to turn 'loop' off on your sequences). Or just play each individual song one at a time in Song mode. I've used both methods for live performances.

Alternatively - so long as your individual songs are all each on a single sequence, you can then arrange your set list in song mode as a single 'song', and if you need a break in between each song, create an empty sequence of how ever long you require & insert that sequence into your set list after each individual song.
I don't know your set up, style, or specific requirements but say if you want your backing tracks fully automated while you play another instrument / sing etc, that last option may be your best option if you don't want to be messing with the MPC itself while you play.

Hi Moot, thank you so much for your response. I realized I wasn’t very detailed. First of all, I load the MIDI file of an entire song onto the MPC, so each sequence I load contains entire songs. I tried using the “Song” function to create a playlist made up of different songs (sequences). In this case, the problem is that the songs are linked together, so once the first sequence ends, the next one starts automatically.

At the moment, I found a solution in sequence mode by deactivating the “loop mode” and assigning the “SEQUENCE+” command to one of the two switches. I sing and play the guitar at the same time, and some of the songs I play consist of two sequences with a break in the middle. I would like to find a way to start the next sequence via a switch assigned with the “PLAY/STOP” command once the first sequence ends.

For this specific case, I found a solution by leaving a bit of a tail at the end of the first sequence, so when I press the “SEQUENCE+” switch, the second one will start at my command. If I didn’t leave the tail on the first sequence, I would have to manually change the sequence or use the two switches “SEQUENCE+” and then “PLAY/STOP” in combination. What I’m looking for is to have a sort of playlist where, automatically, once the first sequence ends, it moves to the second without starting automatically, but only starts when I press the “PLAY/STOP” switch.

I think maybe a good option would be another foot pedal, as the 1000 has 2 foot pedal inputs at the front,
I presume the 2500 also has the same (not sure which you have)
Your current one controlling 'next sequence' as is, & a 2nd pedal for 'start/stop'

I actually discovered purely by chance that an FX pedal can send a foot switch signal, so you may be able to use just about anything if you have something spare lying around that you don't use live.
I had the F5 & F6 buttons fail on me, but managed to keep using it whilst waiting on the replacement part by assigning the 2 foot switches to F5 & F6. I also found I didn't even need the pedal itself, just plugging in a 1/4 inch headphone adapter worked fine just to trigger the function!
