Automation Of The Whole Track

2KXL user since 2002. Got my hands on 2500 since 2010 & never looked back. Kept XL for some sample colouring cases only. JJ OS free version.

So, is this a way to apply filter automation (qlink cut1+2 off) for a whole track/pgm/seq?
Not just for one pad, but also for a combination of pads I've used to build my seq.

Let's say I'd like to achieve automation of LPF opening up as intro of a song/seq. Many pads need to be automated for that.
The way I'm doing it so far is either in daw after export or by resampling mains out & assign that rec in one pad then qlink.

but didn't ever get it (English isn't my native language). Maybe it can be done only in JJOS paid?

Try automating with the qlinks

There might be some workarounds such as
1. Automating an external filter unit such as the Akai MFC42 via Q-Link MIDI CC
2. Creating a mix down of the entire track

on jjos2xl you can use qlinks for parameter automations both on pad and track layer, i don't know if feasible on the freebie jjos.
