Hi all, having an weird issue with my MPC 2500 running JJOS 128XL.

I have a midi controller keyboard and a Kordbot plugged in to Midi in 1 and 2 on the 2500 with a midi cable running from output A of the 2500 to midi input on a Prophet 08. I also have another midi cable going from output B of the 2500 to midi in on a Juno 106.

My issue is that when I set the track to mid and choose the required midi output on the main screen neith the prophet or the Juno 106 are triggering.

I can see from the midi monitor on the 2500 that it's receiving midi data from both the controller keyboard and the Kordbot but nothing is getting sent to the synths. I've checked the midi cables and they work perfectly. If i connect the controller keyboard or Korbot to the synths directly they work fine.

So I'm guessing there is something wrong with the way I have midi set up on the 2500. I've tried tweaking the settings and have never had this issue before. Anyone have any ideas what might be the issue?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I have Soft Thru set to 'As Track' as per the attached picture.

On the track itself it is set to Midi and out on 1A

Likely need to check midi channel settings both on the MPC sequences themselves, & also the synths midi receive channels, to make sure everything is transmitted & received on the same midi channels.

You may have done this already I'm guessing..
