I noticed the new grid feature on the OS. What does it dont understand it.

it just display event/note edit as a grid instead of list like the step edit.
the benefit is giving you a better overview of your track.
read the appropriate section in the mpc2500 manual, you will find a lot of informations about it.

know Microsoft Excel ? its smth similiar.
D can't even be bothered to take time out to to try and understand grid edit. Excel is way too much for D.
