clearing the internal memory

does anyone know if it's possible to remove all the stock bs?

whenever I click Window for "Internal" the format button is not shaded in and will not do anything when I try to format, if I try to format the CF card it has no problems.

well just delete your programs. keep one program (i keep 808's) and go to the internal slot while saving (since you can save :x ) and save your favorite kit. for some reason you cant save an empty program. there maybe a way. knowing this forum somebody is going to correct me on this. bring it on! please enlighten me!!!! i belive it will warn you that it will delete the internal memory... so do it. blah blah blah. but you can use those kits in the meantime. i personally think that they are not that bad!

the important part to note is

"This is available only when SAVE ALL PROGRAMS&SAMPLES or SAVE ALL SEQ&SONGS is selected in the type field"
