Vst effects on midi data ????????

I was just wondering. .im syncing my mpc 1000 to cubase sx2.0, i see the data is comin in but how do you put vst effects like a eq, delay, compressor etc on the the incoming data from the mpc 1000.Or is this not possible

not possible, midi isnt audio its just the triggering information used to play samples.
