How do I create a program after I chop up my sample?

I know I'm probably doing something wrong, but what I've been doing is chopping up the sample with the automatic chop/slice function, then I hit "EDIT" and it only gives me two options; covert to sliced samples or convert to patched phrase. How do I create a program from my chopped/sliced samples? What am I doing wrong?
