In addtion to being really basic, this may be a 2.01 question - I'm asking it here because I've never really used 2.01, and am using 1.03 at the moment.

My question is: Is there a track mixer in the MPC1000?

The mixer I've seen (and rarely used) seems to mix the individual pads in each program.

I'd really like a simple way to balance whole tracks, rather than the individual pads which make them up. Obviously I can do it track-by-track in Pad 11, but is there an easier way?

Seems such a basic thing, I'm sure I've just missed it.

hey try assigning the qlink to ALL pads and then level...you can use that to fadeout your tracks.

thats something ive never used before. were u able to select all pads for q-link b4 j.j's os cos ive always wondered how people do fade outs without using a pc or without some really complex step editing before we had grid edit.
